Foam Hydrant Box Parameters

Overview

Foam hydrant box is a new type of low expansion foam fixed fire extinguishing device.It can spray low-expansion air foam to extinguish class B fires caused by petroleum products, and class A fires caused by general solid materials such as wood and textiles;Or simply spray pressurized water to extinguish class A fires.

Application scope

It is usually used in tunnels, underground garages, gas stations, power plants and other places suitable for self-rescue, as well as places not suitable for the installation of large fixed fire equipment.

Composition of

It is mainly composed of box body, fire hose reel, foam liquid (water forming film) box, proportioning mixer, foam gun, fire button and pipe fittings.

Working principle

The pressure water flow provided by the special fire fighting pipe network or other equipment passes through the proportioner, in which it mixes with the foam liquid inhaled in a certain proportion to form the foam mixture;Then it is sprayed out by the foam gun to form a low-expansion foam covering the combustor to extinguish the fire.
