Tapered roller bearings
Tapered roller bearings are separated bearings, and the inner and outer rings of the bearings are equipped with tapered raceways. The tapered roller bearing consists of an inner ring, an outer ring, a roller and a cage.
The working principle of tapered roller bearings is based on rolling friction. When the bearing is subjected to radial or axial load, the tapered roller rolls between the inner and outer ring raceways to achieve force transfer and dispersion. This way of rolling friction has a smaller friction coefficient than sliding friction, so it can reduce energy loss and improve the working efficiency of the bearing.
Tapered roller bearings have a variety of structural types, including single row, double row and four row. Single row tapered roller bearings can bear radial loads and single direction axial loads, while double row bearings can bear radial loads and two-way axial loads. Tapered roller bearings are also able to withstand axial loads in one direction and limit axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.
Tapered roller bearings have the characteristics of high speed, high rigidity, shock and vibration resistance, and can bear large axial loads. These characteristics make tapered roller bearings play a key role in a variety of industrial applications, especially where heavy loads and impact loads are required.
