Y-bearing with countersunk screw
Suitable for applications with fixed or alternating rotation directions.
The two hexagonal countersunk round end screws in the inner ring separated from each other at 120° Angle are locked to the shaft.
Basic bearing design
Inner ring protrudes on one side for use (Figure 7, bearing series YAT 2)
Inner rings are available on both sides (Figure 8, Bearing series YAR 2)
Sealing solutions on both sides (→ Sealing solutions) tape:
Strong Standard seals (→ Standard seals) are suitable for bearings of the YAT 2 series
Strong Standard seals with additional flingers (→ Standard seals with additional flingers, model suffix 2F) or steel seals with rubber seals lips (→ Multiple seals, Type suffix 2RF) for the YAR 2 bearing series
The outer ring is equipped with two lubrication holes, one at each end, separated from each other by 120°
No lubrication holes can be provided on request (model suffix W).
For the harsh operating conditions that arise in agricultural applications such as combine harvesters and balers, harvesters and disc harrows, SKF has designed the YARAG 2 bearing series (Figure 9). These bearings: patented 5-lip seals (→ Sealing solutions, 5-lip seals)
