Marine flange is a part used to connect various pipes and equipment on a ship, usually used to transport liquids, gases or powdery substances.

There are mainly the following categories of Marine flanges:

• Flat welded flange: It is a flange that inserts the pipe into the inner ring of the flange, which is mainly suitable for normal temperature pipelines with pressure less than 2.5MPa, and is the most used flange in ships.

• Butt welded flange: also known as high neck flange, it refers to the flange with a neck that has a round tube transition and is welded with the pipe. Mainly used in compressed air piping, carbon dioxide piping

• Loose sleeve flange: commonly known as a movable flange, is a flange connection method, suitable for copper-nickel alloy tubes and expansion joints.

• Hydraulic flange: mainly used to withstand high pressure or high mechanical stress occasions.

• Long welded neck flange: Its structure is characterized by a long neck and welded end.

• Sliding flange: is a Marine flange, which is characterized by free sliding in the pipeline. These flanges are commonly used to connect pipes or equipment that require frequent removal and reinstallation, such as pump inlet and outlet lines.

• Blind flange: is a special Marine flange, usually used to seal the end of the pipeline. Because of its good sealing performance, it can effectively prevent liquid or gas leakage.
