What Is Magnetic Pump?

Magnetic pump is a kind of pump driven by magnetic force, which is mainly composed of several parts such as pump head, magnetic drive, motor and base.

The magnetic drive of the magnetic pump is composed of an external magnetic rotor, an internal magnetic rotor and a non-magnetic isolation sleeve. When the motor drives the external magnetic rotor to rotate through the coupling, the magnetic field can penetrate the air gap and non-magnetic substances, and drive the inner magnetic rotor connected with the impeller to rotate synchronously to achieve power transmission. Because the magnetic pump has the advantages of no leakage, no pollution, no noise, etc.

In oil tankers and chemical vessels, due to the need to transport highly polluting liquids, in order to avoid leakage and contamination, magnetic pumps are often used to replace traditional mechanically sealed pumps.
