What Is Vane Pump?
Vane pump is a kind of pump that converts mechanical energy into pressure energy. There are many types of vane pumps, such as single-acting vane pumps, double-acting vane pumps, vane variable pumps, vane quantitative pumps, centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps, mixed flow pumps, vertical vane pumps, horizontal vane pumps and inclined vane pumps, shield pumps, magnetic pumps, etc.
The structure of vane pump mainly includes the following parts: pump body, impeller and pump shaft. Depending on the type and use, the structure and composition of the vane pump may also vary.
The working principle of the vane pump is to use the centrifugal force generated when the blade rotates in the stator to transport the liquid. Specifically, when the rotor rotates, the blade is attached to the inner surface of the stator under the action of centrifugal force, and reciprocates in the groove of the rotor blade. With the rotation of the rotor, the blade will press the liquid in the pump from the oil inlet side to the oil discharge side, so as to realize the liquid transportation.
In the Marine industry, vane pumps are mainly used to transport fuel oil, lubricating oil, cooling water and other liquids. These liquids need to be transported under different working conditions, so the vane pump needs to have high performance and stability, and can adapt to a variety of harsh working conditions.
