Classify valves by diameter
The nominal diameter specifications of the valve are as follows:
Small diameter valve: nominal size DN≤40mm. Small diameter valves are usually used for cutting and adjusting pipeline systems;
Medium diameter valve: nominal size DN50~300mm. Medium diameter valve is used for flow and pressure control of pipeline system;
Large diameter valve: nominal size DN350~1200mm. Large diameter valves are used for import and export control of large fluid pipeline systems or fluid equipment;
Valves can be divided into small caliber valves, medium caliber valves, large caliber valves and large caliber valves. DN refers to the nominal diameter of the pipe (also known as the nominal diameter), the numerical size of all the pipe accessories in the pipe system to distinguish those parts indicated by the thread or outside diameter.
