What Is A Room Temperature Valve?

Normal temperature valve refers to the valve that is suitable for the medium working temperature of -40℃ ~ 120℃. Normal temperature valves usually use carbon steel or cast steel as the main material, according to different working principles and structural forms, can be divided into gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, plug valves and so on.

The normal temperature valve is very common in the spare parts of the ship. This temperature area is the temperature where the main materials of the valve are basically suitable. Moreover, it is the upper limit of corrosion-resistant working temperature of corrosion-resistant stainless steel in acid medium, such as: CF8, CF3; 304,304L in nitric acid medium operating temperature ≤200℃; CF8M, CF3M; 316,316L in acetic acid medium operating temperature ≤200℃; 200℃ is the maximum temperature value of the sealing element of the valve (such as: sealing seat, sealing gasket, packing, etc.) with PTFE; 200℃ is the highest working temperature of silicone rubber (SI) and fluorine rubber (EPM);
