What Is A Throttle Valve?

Marine flange bronze throttle valve is used for Marine seawater, fresh water and oil pipeline system throttle valve, by changing the throttling section to control the flow. Its structure is relatively simple, easy to manufacture and maintenance, low cost.

Because the flow of the throttle valve not only depends on the size of the throttle area, but also related to the pressure difference before and after the throttle, the stiffness of the valve is small, so it is only suitable for occasions where the load change of the actuator is small and the speed stability requirement is not high. For the throttle speed control system with large load change and high speed stability requirement, the throttle valve must be compensated to keep the pressure difference before and after the throttle valve unchanged, so as to achieve the flow stability.

The throttle valve has no negative flow feedback function and cannot compensate for the speed instability caused by the load change, which is generally only used for occasions where the load changes little or the speed stability is not required.
